Welcome to Downtown Pentwater!

 In 1853 Pentwater was founded by E.R. Cobb and Andrew Rector.  They built the first two buildings in Pentwater.  A boarding house near the current water tower and a lumber mill, both on the south end of Hancock St.

Pentwater's beautiful charm and blue waters is the perfect vacation for anyone.  Everything is within walking distance of town.  Pentwater offers clean sand beaches, camping, marina's, shopping, and excellent restaurants.  We know you and your family would enjoy your stay with us, there is something for everyone here in Pentwater.
